The Dove Shack, a pioneering group in West Coast hip-hop, is mourning the loss of C-Knight (real name Arnez Blount) who passed away on Tuesday, Nov.

7 at the age of 52. C-Knight had been hospitalized after suffering a stroke and experiencing a scary blood sugar level due to diabetes. Despite the family’s hope and waiting for the results of a critical MRI, C-Knight’s heart stopped and he was taken off life support. TMZ first reported the news and it was later confirmed by C-Knight’s fellow Dove Shack groupmate, Bo Roc, in a heartfelt Instagram post.
