Kevin Gates has released a preview of his upcoming music video for “God Slippers,” the first single from his newly-announced album, The Ceremony.
Although an official release date for the LP has yet to be announced, fans can get a taste of what’s to come from the single, which was unveiled earlier this month.
The announcement coincides with Gates’ Only The Generals tour with BigXThaPlug, which has taken them to various locations across the U.S. Gates is currently performing in Texas and will move on to other southern cities at the beginning of next month. However, the recent controversy surrounding Gates teaching his 8-year-old daughter how to drive without a seatbelt has caused concern among fans.

When questioned about it, he confidently stated that he does not engage in raising felines. Despite the unconventional behavior of the 37-year-old, his dedicated fanbase eagerly anticipates his upcoming projects. Following his 2022 LP Khaza, which includes a collaboration with Juicy J on the track “Thinking With My D*ck,” his latest album will soon be released.

Recently, TMZ interviewed the artist, who hails from Louisiana, and he revealed his efforts to get in shape for his upcoming tour. He mentioned receiving guidance from notable figures such as Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, and Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews. “I engage in various workouts, focusing on stability training and hip mobility,” he explained. “Yoga, weightlifting, and squats are integral parts of my routine. My personal trainer pushes me to my limits, making me perform challenging kettlebell squats. This is the current focus of my fitness regimen.” Additionally, he shared that Durant imparted valuable knowledge on breath control, emphasizing the importance of staying present in the moment.
